Watercolour can be one of the most rewarding and beautiful painting techniques, but it all begins with the basics. You’ll walk through the basic steps of brushstrokes, colour mixing and paint handling to discover how rewarding and fun it can be, laying a foundation for developing your own inspirational art.

What you’ll learn

Course FAQ

  • You’ll need watercolour paints, brushes and watercolour paper to get the best out of your painting. To set your space up you’ll need a drawing board and some masking tape or washi tape.

  • There’s no doubt that achieving the best results with watercolour is easier if you’ve had some experience before, but the most important thing is to practice regularly to improve your skills.
